The Detex ProxiPen has been redesigned to be even more durable than before, the shorter battery case means fewer breaks and less down time.  The unit still runs on "AA" batteries and is now RoHS compliant.  You don’t need to actually touch the RFID tag to get an accurate reading; just get close!
